The Clark County Amateur Radio Association (CLARA) is an amateur (ham) radio club in the Springfield, Ohio area. We provide communications support to civic and public service events including runs, bicycle rides; emergency communications during hazmat incidents, fires, snow emergencies, missing child searches; weather spotter support to local officials and the National Weather Service during severe weather; and an opportunity for amateur radio operators to meet and discuss radio related topics.

Our club is more than just communications support, however. We have our annual club dinner in January, annual club picnic in June, Saturday morning breakfasts, and at least one field trip per year in lieu of a club meeting. In past years we have toured the National Weather Service facility at Wilmington, the Clark County Sheriff's dispatch center, the B-17 restoration project in Urbana, Ohio and recently WDTN Channel 2 in Dayton.

Our club meets the third Monday of each month, except for July and August, in the HOG room at Mid-Ohio Harley-Davidson.
